The Academy of Latin American Business and Sustainability Studies (ALBUS) is an organization that holds an annual conference consisting of:
ALBUS’s annual conference takes place the first week of November. The location of the conference is in Latin American countries, which includes the Caribbean, Central and South America.
Conference attendees come from around the world, with participants coming from higher education institutions that are willing to share research findings and new ideas to reinforce the economic, social, and educational sectors in Latin America!
At ALBUS, we aim to become a global research institution that fosters sustainable development and business practices in Latin America that drives transformative change in private and public sector business practices through interdisciplinary collaboration and a commitment to excellence by promoting sustainable innovation, responsible entrepreneurship, and ethical leadership.
ALBUS's mission is to conduct cutting-edge research that contributes to the body of knowledge on Latin American management practices, sustainable business models, and the impacts of climate change and environmental degradation on the region. We aim to generate insights and practical solutions that inform policymaking, inspire industry innovation, and promote evidence-based decision-making toward sustainable development.
ALBUS is a non-profit academic institution that was created by a group of Latin American academics from different disciplines and countries in the region to disseminate and share knowledge and research in the academic field in Latin America and thus expand the impact of Latin American studies and create networks that allow more significant relationships between colleagues from other countries.
