SANTO DOMINGO. – The Academy of Latin American Business and Sustainability (ALBUS) Studies and Apec University announced that for the first time, the international conference ALBUS 2023 will be held in the Dominican Republic from November 7 to 9. Dr. Luis Camacho, president of ALBUS, reported that researchers, university professors, doctoral students, and academics are invited to the conference to present articles, summaries, case studies, and proposals for evaluation by the Scientific Committee. He warned that the deadline to submit their proposals to be considered for evaluation is September 30.

The Ministry of Sports and Recreation (Miderec), the Technological University of Cibao Oriental (Uteco) of Cotuí, and the Academy of Latin America Business and Sustainability Studies (ALBUS) signed an inter-institutional agreement to strengthen sports education at all levels.

Through this agreement, the institutions will share resources and efforts focused on training sports technicians and professionals in sports management.

The Technological University of Cibao (UTECO), the Academy of Latin America Business and Sustainability Studies, Inc. (ALBUS), and the Cátedra Ciclo Minero Foundation signed a memorandum of understanding to facilitate the exchange of knowledge to promote programs for 

Engineer Marilyn Díaz, Honorable Rector of UTECO, said that these alliances will improve educational service quality, developing technological programs that go hand in hand with the demands of the current labor market.

On the other hand, Luis Camacho, president of the Academy of Latin American Business and Sustainability Studies (ALBUS), expressed that one of his functions is to provide opportunities in Latin American countries, including the Dominican Republic.
